GIANA ALESSANDRO. TEN FROM A THOUSAND. 1989
Presented in the group exhibition «Take Over – Absolut Politik» (1990) at Luciano Inga-Pin’s gallery in Milan. Giana packages ten 1,000-lire banknotes like slices of mortadella, using supermarket-style graphics and a serial number. He made 200 examples, each both multiple and unique because of the serial numbers on the package and on the banknotes. They sold for 9,900 lire.
